Club History
    The Cutting Edge Figure Skating Club started in 1996. At that time, there was a contest to name the club and Courtney Cooper was the winner.There was also a contest to design a logo and Kristin Francis was the winner of that.
-   The Club's first coach was Levi Curtis, and skating first started in January 1996. There were approximately 150 skaters when the club first started.
    Over the years, Cutting Edge have had a number of Ice Shows:
  -     The first ice show of 1997 was "Ice Circus Of Wonders"
  -     1998 was "Journey to the Stars"
  -     1999 was "Beyond the Edge". Jessica coached with
        Levi.
  -     No show in 2000, due to arena problems.
  -     2001 was "Rock and Roll is Here to Stay"
  -     2004 was "Disney on Ice"
  -     2005 was "Skating To The Oldies"
  -     2006 was "Now Playing"
  -     2007 was "Year in Skate"

In November of 1999 Jennifer Strowbridge and Kristin Francis skated in the "Hot Ice, Skate The Rock '99"   starring Elvis Stojko at the Glacier in Mount Pearl.  
  Cutting Edge hosted interclub in 1999.
